First Look: Designer Brock Forsblom’s Lipstick Living Room Rug Sample

          Rug & Kilim took this project for Brock Forsblom — an inspired designer Josh has known since his beginnings with Ingrao Inc.  Brock is a warm person with an open mind, and his many accolades reflect that same confidence and youthful energy. His style is one of subtle distinction, just like his work — immersive yet playful, and always so comfortable.

         Since Brock moved into this new space two years ago, he and our design team have been working to create something refreshing and livable for each space. To create something one-of-a-kind for the living room, we worked hand-in-hand personalizing the quality and pattern to his taste.

          In this design, we had a very distinct pattern on the field of the carpet in the early brainstorming sessions until we decided to make it more subdued — giving the color more agency while wanting to ‘look’ for the pattern. For a keen eye, it’s like the colors are speaking for themselves in the subtle movement and shifting warmth.

          The result? A gorgeous custom rug sample that further embodies Forsblom’s work and why we love to create with him.

         Fire, love, kindness, joy, and a chance to play — an intimate process where the inventive becomes the inviting. It’s one of several one-of-a-kind works we’ve built with Brock, and his best work is — just like ours — always ahead.
