Rug & Kilim is an internationally renowned source of antique, vintage, mid-century-modern, Scandinavian, Moroccan, European, and custom bespoke rugs with the most extensive international kilim rug collection. Over its 40-year history, Rug & Kilim has expanded from its first showroom in Short Hills, NJ, to our new trade showroom in the Queens, NY area.

Rug & Kilim was founded in 1980 as a continuation of Josh Nazmiyal’s family tradition. Josh personally selects each piece in our collection with unmatched attention to detail and an eye for beauty. Josh’s experience is complemented by an award-winning in-house art department and a design department with an international reach.

Our handmade rugs and carpets are crafted from a unique blend of exotic yarns, wool, or other materials sourced worldwide. Our team’s kilim rug expertise brings out the elegance of the textile with intricate flat weaving from a variety of techniques.
