1950s Vintage chaput Kilim rug in Polychromatic Stripe Patterns, Multicolor

Originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960, a rare type of kilim rug style now entering our Antique & Vintage selections. Characterized by fine detailing with the colors within the polychromatic stripes, the vibrant piece welcomes a departure from traditional Kilims for something so modern for its period. Existing in good condition, a 5×10 panel woven style flatweave enjoying exclusivity in color, variation & weave alike. While blues, beige-browns, pinks, reds and orange prevail, the colorway like that of its siblings is subtly meticulous. Ultimately a one-of-a-kind creation from R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal’s favorite new curations.
