1950s Vintage Sofren Kilim rug in Red, Blue and Brown

Handwoven in wool circa 1980-1990, from a rare vintage curation of small-sized Sofreh Kilim rugs in our classic collection. Especially distinguished for its 3×3 size and durability among Persian flat weaves of its time.

The piece carries an exemplary tribal attitude and a refreshing take on traditional geometric patterns with more arresting colors for their period. The collectible enjoys a distinguished tribal pattern in aegean blue, red & striated green and brown in the borders. Thriving in good condition, a subtly experimental piece among its nomadic origins with only mild wear among its many accolades.
