Antique Agra Rug Beige Pink Blue Cotton Geometric Indian Runner 13290

Originating circa 1900-1910, this extraordinary 2’3 x 12’2 runner represents a repurposed fragment of an antique Indian rug, handmade in cotton in the early 20th-century vintage rug features geometric patterns married to floral designs on a beige foundation with pink, blue, and yellow hues within the piece. A cream filigree triangular pattern outlined in pink and blue features prominently down the length of the antique Indian rug with a blue triangle and additional colorful shapes added inside the larger pattern. Other geometric shapes in blue and pink are framed by leaves of the same colorway, with dainty cream flowers stretching outward from their blue stems. Two floral borders are encased in a knotty blue-and-pink pattern displayed on the inside of the partition and the outside. Inside these knotty patterns, a border of blooming yellow and blue flowers stretches the length of the piece, connected by cream leaves outlined in pink. Alongside this pattern, another floral in pink and cream is featured.
