Originating from Turkey in 1910, this antique traditional Kayseri rug has a unique colorway orientation to complement its universal symmetry. Hand knotted in high-quality wool, the red background of the field elevates four repetitious but very subtly varied floral medallions in golden-yellow and lavender, wrapped by rare vertical spandrels continuing against the innermost wrapping border.
