An antique 12×21 Spanish rug, hand-knotted in wool circa 1890-1900, among Rug & Kilim’s rare classic curations.

This piece enjoys finely detailed medallions in an all over pattern, and rich tones of brown and gold with pink, red, and blue accents. The repetition lends a soothing, natural sense of movement, and exemplifies the deft hand of uncommon works from this period. A masterpiece of this European style, and a spacious palace size rug seldom seen in this provenance.
