Joining Rug & Kilim’s Antique & Vintage collection, this 11×14 rug is a rare antique Savonnerie rug—hand-knotted in wool circa 1890-1900.

This rug embodies the grandiose sensibility of the titular European styles with an elaborate central medallion and finely detailed floral patterns in its field and border. The colorway enjoys a rich play of browns and golds on a blue field and red border, with many vibrant, saturated jewel tones in kind.
