Distressed Zeki Müren Rug in Red with Trellis Pattern, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 4×9 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

Keen eyes will note the use of classic European floral motifs in a more modern way, which connoisseurs may further admire as a distinction of Müren’s rare works. This mid-century Zeki Müren rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its Hand-knotted wool pile has been lowered, which lends it the look of distress in the texture.
