Vintage Zeki Müren Runner in Polychromatic Patterns by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 3×7 runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

On the Design:

This is a vibrant piece that exemplifies Müren’s hallmark use of joyful, less-traditional colors to recapture classic aesthetics. Its lattice patterns and motifs draw on Industrial Art Deco sensibilities in an exciting polychromatic geometric pattern. The whole look is one of movement and life, and among Müren’s most modern works ahead of their time.
