This vintage 3×5 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This design is one of Müren’s rare pictorials, and draws on antique tapestries to depict elks in a forest setting of vivid colors. Keen eyes will further note intricate floral patterns on the border, and admire their complement to this shabby-chic design. Rich brown, vibrant and forest green, navy blue, and rich red comprise the most present colors in this idyllic piece. A collectible, as much a work of folk art and rustic charm as a hand-knotted rug.
