This vintage 5×6 Tulu rug is from the latest entries in Rug & Kilim’s rare tribal curations. Hand-knotted in wool from Turkey circa 1950-1960.

Exceptional Tulus like this creation are known for vibrant modern colors and archaic geometric patterns. This particular design enjoys a single, arresting medallion in gold, pink, and brown atop the blue background. Keen eyes will admire how the simple play of vibrant colors lets the lush pile sit all the more gorgeous. Flat weave borders complete the piece at the top and bottom, and lend further colorful accents to this playful palette.
