Vintage Zeki Muren rug in Beige, Green and Red Geometric Pattern, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 5×9 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This distressed style piece enjoys a dextrous geometric pattern in red and green over beige-brown tones that play quite naturally with the texture. Keen eyes will admire chartreuse, sage, brick red, and even camel tones in the rich color range this piece evokes. This is a collectible rug, and an exemplar of Müren’s versatile, yet distinguished works from this period.

This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Ready for the floor and especially worthy of sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics.
