Vintage Zeki Müren Rug in Beige with Lattice and Floral Patterns, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 6×11 rug is a new, rare addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This industrial art Deco piece enjoys a blue lattice pattern with floral motifs in varied colors on a beige background. Keen eyes will note a bright pink accent in the background, and admire its gentle complement to the piece.  Furthermore its attention to subtle color variation in the patterns creates a unique sense of movement that’s exemplary in Müren’s signature style. This mid-century Zeki Müren rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its hand-knotted wool pile has been lowered, which lends it the look of distress in the texture.
