Vintage Zeki Müren rug in Off White & Gray Patterns, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 4×6 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.

This rug  enjoys an all over geometric pattern in subdued off white & gray colorways with beige tones. Keen eyes will further note a subtle influence from European floral motifs, and admire their adaptation to this style. It’s a comfortable, cozy piece of soothing repeat, and its versatile runner size offers vast applications. 

Condition:

This mid-century rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its pile has been lowered, which lends it the look of distress in the texture.
