Vintage Zeki Müren Rug in Polychromatic Geometric Patterns, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 5×6 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This industrial art Deco piece enjoys polychromatic geometric patterns in a honeycomb design like that of a mosaic. Connoisseurs will further admire the sheer attention to color variation and movement created therein—a trait of Müren’s most distinguished works.

This mid-century Zeki Müren rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its hand-knotted wool pile has been lowered, which lends it the look of distress in the texture.
