Vintage Zeki Müren Art Deco Runner Rug with Floral Patterns, from Rug & Kilim

This vintage 5×7 Art Deco runner rug, hand-knotted in wool, circa 1960-1970, is a new addition to Rug & Kilim Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. 

On the Design: 

Connoisseurs will appreciate this design that represents one of Müren’s unique plays of polychromatic colorway and geometric floral patterns that would become his celebrated styles. Its design showcases his ability to create a modern interpretation of classic floral patterns. Condition:

This mid-century Zeki Müren runner rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its construction has been lowered to preserve its construction, which lends it the distressed look of wear and chic in a low pile.
