Originating from Afghanistan, this gallery runner rug is an exemplar of tribal rugs from its period and provenance. Keen eyes will admire the colorful play of medallion-style geometric patterns in beige/brown, orange, yellow and blue, and the all-over style. This rug features a repeat of the most time-honored motif, with a strong resemblance to the ram’s horn symbol, but with more attitude and movement in the colorful variations that make it such a personal piece.
