Rug & Kilim’s Aubusson Style Rug in Beige, with Floral patterns

Hand-knotted in wool, circa 1960 – 1970, this 6×8 Aubusson Style rug is a unique addition to Rug & Kilim Mid-century Pasha Collection. Its design, by Zeki Müren, is inspired from Aubusson and neoclassical European sensibilities.

Its distressed appearance owing to the rug’s origin in circa 1960 – 1970, makes it a rare addition to Rug & Kilim Mid-century Pasha Collection.

This mid-century Zeki Müren rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its pile has been lowered to preserve its construction, which lends it a subtle look of distress and chic. This wear is mild, consistent with the age of the piece, and its overall condition is especially rare for this artist’s works
