1950s Vintage Art Deco Kilim rug in Beige, Brown, Grey & Blue by Rug & Kilim

Handwoven in wool, a flatweave from Romania circa 1950-1960 now joining our vintage selections. Believed to be Bessarabian in origin, of perhaps the most unique deco sensibility we’ve curated from this region & period.

The uniquely fluid design brims with a delightful blue-gray accent in the beige-brown for a subtle depth marking the most unique trait of all its rarities. A piece ahead of its time, well suited for a collector’s repertoire. Among the personal favorites of R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal.
