Vintage Bidjar Persian Kilim with Geometric Patterns by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 5×11 Persian Kilim is believed to be a Bidjar tribal rug, handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.

Its design favors a complementary play of traditional geometric patterns & stripes in rich colors. Keen eyes will note an especially present beige-brown, navy blue and teal tones in the many hues it enjoys. Connoisseurs will note Bidjar flat weaves are among the most celebrated tribal rugs and kilims of Persian provenance.
