Vintage Persian Kilim in Polychromatic Geometric Patterns by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 6×15 Persian Kilim is a tribal rug from Meshkin—a small northwestern village known for its fabulous works. Handwoven in wool, it originates circa 1950-1960.

On the Design:

The design enjoys a salmon pink open field and a long medallion in green, red and beige-brown tones. Keen eyes will note the many vibrant accents in its geometric patterns border around, and admire the sense of movement they lend the piece. It’s a fabulous gallery runner, exemplary of the personal details in Persian flat weaves and tribal rugs that distinguish them today.

This mid-century Northwest Persian Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
