Vintage Qashqai Persian Kilim and Extra-Long Runner in Red, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 4×22 Persian kilim is a rare extra-long runner believed to hail from the Qashqai tribe—handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.

On the Design:

Specifically a “Palas Qashqai”, this flatweave favors a red open field with beige-brown stripes patterns on the borders. Connoisseurs will note few Qashqai Kilims can be found in this size today—a rare oversized Persian runner with vast applications. 

On Condition
This mid-century Persian Qashqai Kilim runner further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. It’s ready for the floor, and can be resized into one or more smaller pieces upon request.
