Vintage Shahsavan Persian Jajim-Kilim in Blue & White Stripes by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 6×6 Persian Kilim is believed to be a Jajim flat-weave of the Shahsavan tribe.

Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, its design favors stripes, which enjoys uncommonly bright colors for a Shahsavan Kilim. This play of cool, off-white and blue tones and simple, soothing presence offers a comfortable addition to any space. Its versatile size as a square rug, too, offers vast design applications today.

This mid-century Persian Shahsavan Jajim-Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
