This vintage 5×9 Persian Kilim is a mid-century tribal rug that we believe originates from the Shahsavan tribe.

On the Design:

Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, its design enjoys a polychromatic colorway with stripes in an all-over pattern. Connoisseurs may admire the liveliness these colors lend to an otherwise soothing, simple piece—vibrant, saturated jewel tones with warm presence.
