This piece features geometric patterns in a repeat of hexagons and geometric patterns in both the field and borders. Rich brown underscores light green, navy blue, red and other bright tones among the many at play. It’s a comfortable, personal work honoring primitivist rugs and nomadic folk art and its ancestry.
