Vintage Tuareg Mat Moroccan Rug with Brown Geometric Pattern, from Rug & Kilim

Hand-woven in reed and leather circa 1940-1950, this 10×16 vintage Tuareg Moroccan area rug is from the nomadic tribe of the same name. A rare large-size selection, its design enjoys warm beige undertones and rich brown geometric patterns in large-scale medallion style.

This design is also one of few in its kind to favor an open field and minimalist approach to the primitivist Berber geometric patterns.
