This mid-century piece features a mural of animal pictorial patterns unlike any we’ve seen, even from this provenance renowned for this style. The most outstanding is a Cheetah, surrounded by other whimsical wildlife from deers to butterflies and birds. It’s so skillful to see the reds and blues in both these surrounding animals and the finer details of the Cheetah, and the result is a breathtaking work of folk art as much as a handmade rug.
