Rug & Kilim’s Scandinavian Kilim Rug with Blue and Gray Geometric Patterns

This 8×10 Swedish style kilim is a new addition to the handmade Scandinavian rug collection by Rug & Kilim. Handwoven in wool, cotton and natural yarns, its design draws inspiration from Swedish Deco Rollakhans in a high-end style. 

On the Design: 

This contemporary flatweave enjoys geometric patterns in dark blue and gray tones, with white and pink accents within. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style. The result is a gorgeous balance of the comfortable repetition this style with more of a sense of movement. 

This modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic.
