Vintage Distressed Zeki Muren Rug in Polychromatic Patterns – by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 7×9 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

Amongst the rare polychromatic works of the artist, the piece enjoys a montage of colors in a look of striae and subtle geometric patterns. Keen eyes will note the sheer attention to detail, and admire this as a collectible of Müren’s abstract rugs. The way such chaotic colors play so naturally with the shabby-chic distress is a rare beauty, and an exemplar of his one-of-a-kind sensibility.
