This vintage 7×19 Persian kilim is a rare tribal rug for its size and style alike. Handwoven in wool, it originates circa 1950-1960.
Further on the Design:
The design prefers a vibrant range of colors in its medallion and geometric patterns on a rich chocolate brown field. Keen eyes will admire salmon pink, purple, teal, and lighter blue beside the more traditional brick red hues in field and border alike. The look is a gorgeous one of playful movement while still cozy and quite livable for a work of extra-long size. This is a collectible gallery runner, and an exemplar of nomadic Kilims and their rustic country charm as well.
Further on the Condition:
This mid-century Persian tribal Kilim further enjoys good condition for its provenance, and is ready for the floor.
