This vintage 6×7 Bidjar Persian Jajim kilim is a unique tribal rug for its period—handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.
Further on the Design:
The field is done in a striae—more particularly, finely woven stripes that alternate with a one-of-a-kind look. Keen eyes will admire blue and crisp white colors one might seldom see in works from this provenance. Meticulous detail achieves a simple, neutral presence like few such comfortable Jajim styles evoke.
Further on the Condition:
This mid-century Persian tribal flat weave further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. It’s ready for the floor, and is available with or without our custom non-slip padding upon request.
