Vintage Shiraz Persian Kilim rug in Polychromatic Stripes by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 6×8 Persian Kilim is a Shiraz rug, and an exemplar of this tribal provenance. Handwoven in wool, it originates circa 1950-1960.

This Shiraz Kilim enjoys polychromatic stripes and subdued geometric patterns which favor warm reds, oranges, greens, and other vibrant colors. Keen eyes will admire traits similar to Jajims and other panel woven pieces, though this piece remains an exemplar of its provenance.

This mid-century tribal flat weave further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Ready for the floor.
