From R&K principal Josh Nazmiyal’s latest acquisitions, a 3×12 vintage tribal runner originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960.

On the Design:

This all over geometric pattern features traditional motifs end to end in rich and warm red, orange & beige-brown. Chevron patterns on the borders in similar colorways, particularly complementing the inviting sense of movement within. Keen eyes may further note a mild lavender hue among several accenting colors — further connoting the brilliant, unusual technique while also complementing the other vibrant colors.

Furthermore, as rare in condition as construction, a delicious hand-knotted wool piece. Particularly well suited for entryways & hallways in its versatile size.
