Vintage Zeki Muren Rug in Beige Green Geometric Pattern, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 3×6 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This design connotes Müren’s mid-century ‘industrial’ take on Art Deco designs, and enjoys a simple series of diamond geometric patterns. The subtle beauty is in the color variations this piece enjoys, where sage green, chocolate, taupe and other hues sit gorgeous on beige and camel notes in this warm background. This rustic-meets-modern colorway plays naturally with the shabby-chic texture, and lends a simple, joyful air to any space.

This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Ready for the floor, and especially well-suited to projects yearning for country aesthetics.
