Vintage Zeki Müren Rug in Gold with Red and Blue Patterns, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 2×6 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This industrial art Deco piece nods to classic Turkish design, and enjoys repeating motifs in red, blue, and purple on a gold background. Keen eyes will admire fine black outlines, and the definition they lend the geometry in its natural sense of movement. This is a collectible piece from Müren’s works, and a very livable design with rustic charm and warmth alike.

This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Ready for the floor, and especially well-suited to projects yearning country aesthetics.
