This vintage 6×9 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This distressed piece enjoys geometric repetition alternating in polychromatic tones playing naturally with the low pile. Keen eyes will admire a polychromatic approach to this mosaic-like pattern, and appreciate its play of traditional-meets-modern elements that distinguishes Müren’s works. Beige-brown, brick red, green, and black comprise the most present hues, though the sheer movement in the variety is one of this work’s many gorgeous traits.

A smart mid-century rug in otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage, worthy of sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics.
