Vintage Zeki Muren Rug in Polychromatic Geometric Pattern, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 4×7 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This design connotes Müren’s mid-century ‘industrial’ take on Art Deco designs, and enjoys a warm palette in a geometric lattice pattern. The subtle beauty is in the color variations this piece enjoys, where sage green, gold, rust, and beige-brown hues create an exciting sense of movement that still brings an air of cozy comfort in its repetition. This is a warm, yet finely detailed design, with colors and sensibility that play naturally in the distressed texture.
