Vintage Zeki Müren runner in Beige-Brown Geometric Pattern

This vintage 2×8 runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This design remarks Müren’s mid-century take on Art Deco rugs, and his unique use of color to create movement therein. This industrial art Deco style enjoys a beige background with geometric patterns in off-white, salmon red, and other playful hues. Connoisseurs will admire how rare this artisan look in a shabby-chic distressed style is—an exemplar of Müren’s collectible works, so ahead of his time.

This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this distressed low-pile style. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
