This vintage 3×6 runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.
Further on the Design:
This distressed piece enjoys a dextrous geometric pattern in beige with most unique sage green and black accents in the repeat. Keen eyes will note their taupe accent, and admire how these hues play naturally with this texture for a look of smart-meets-rustic charm. This is a soothing collectible from this artist, and a relaxing neutral choice for a variety of projects.
Connoisseurs may further note this design is a mid-century interpretation of Art Deco aesthetics dubbed “industrial” in many circles. The style is a distinction of Müren’s, and this an exemplar of his works therein.
Further on the Condition:
This mid-century runner further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Ready for the floor and especially worthy of sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics.
Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
