Vintage Zeki Muren Runner in Red with Pink Floral Medallion, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 3×6 Art Deco runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.

This distressed piece is a one-of-a-kind curation fusion of Müren’s mid-century take on Art Deco rugs and French Aubusson sensibilities. The floral medallion enjoys pink with green accents on sky blue, and sits gorgeous on the brick red background. It’s rare to see such a smart approach that marries the commonalities of these aesthetics, and the result is a distinguished piece with gravity and charm alike. The result is an entirely new presentation of these styles, and a warm, collectible piece.
