Vintage Northwest Persian Kilim in Orange with Medallions, by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 6×10 Persian Kilim is a tribal rug from Meshkin—a small northwestern village known for its fabulous works. Handwoven in wool, it originates circa 1950-1960.

On the Design:

The design enjoys rich and warm tones of orange, pink, brown and red beside many vibrant accents in its medallions and geometric patterns alike. It’s a rich, regal flatweave like few tribal Kilims in its provenance, yet still so exemplary of their quintessential personality and presence.

Condition:

This mid-century Northwest Persian Kilim further enjoys great size & good condition for its age and origin.
