Vintage Persian Kilim Runner in Red with Medallions by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 3×9 Persian Kilim is believed to be a tribal runner of the 1950s. 

Handwoven in wool, its design plays medallion and all-over pattern style together on a bright red field. The piece further enjoys a wide range of geometric patterns in vibrant colors with a gorgeous sense of movement. Keen eyes will admire nods to pictorial motifs, such as primitivist depictions of birds and other mythical creatures therein.
