Vintage Shahsavan Persian Kilim in Beige-Brown & White Stripes, from Rug & Kilim

This vintage 5×8 Persian Kilim is a mid-century tribal rug that we believe originates from the Shahsavan tribe.

On the Design:

Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, its design enjoys an all over pattern in stripes of beige-brown and off-white. It’s a simple, but rich Persian flatweave with a soothing sense of movement—an exemplary choice in Shahsavan rugs of its period. 

Condition:

This mid-century Persian Shahsavan Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age & origin in a versatile size.
