This vintage 5×11 Shahsavan Persian kilim is handwoven in wool, and originates circa 1950-1960.

On the Design:

The piece enjoys striped patterns in red & blue encased in black & white tribal borders. A keen eye would note fine tribal patterns between the stripes exemplifying the nomadic appeal.
