Vintage Shahsavan Persian Kilim in Stripes & Geometric Patterns from Rug & Kilim

This vintage 5×5 Persian Kilim is a mid-century tribal rug that we believe originates from the Shahsavan tribe.

On the Design:

Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, its design enjoys a play of stripes and tribal geometric patterns in red, blue, brown and cream tones. It’s an exemplary choice among Shahsavan flatweaves of its period, and furthermore a square Kilim of versatile size with vast design applications. 

Condition:

This mid-century Persian Shahsavan Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
