These photos represent an 8×10 rug from this collection, hand-knotted in wool. Its particular design nods to Tibetan tiger-skin rugs in a regal pictorial style like that of a pelt. The field favors blue with teal notes, and a play of orange and brown geometric patterns like stripes on a tiger’s back.
