“Rez Kilim” represents a contemporary homage to Turkish and Persian panel-weaving styles in a textural approach to minimalist rugs. This piece enjoys a play of charcoal gray and ivory white stripes, with beige accents in the weft and stitching between the panels (or columns). Admirers of the craft will appreciate the way the fundamentals of a traditional flatweaving style have been reimagined in an almost impressionistic look at geometry, ribbing, and the subtleties of a Kilim.
