Vintage Ghazvin Persian Kilim in Brown with Blue Medallions by Rug & Kilim

This vintage 5×12 Persian Kilim is believed to be a tribal rug from the Ghazvin region—handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.

On the Design:

This mid-century rug enjoys a rich brown field and beige border, with especially present navy blue and pink accents. Keen eyes will note subtle pictorial patterns around the medallions in its open field—particularly geometric figures meant to represent humans and animals in nomadic cultures. It’s a collectible piece of history in tribal rugs, as well as a gorgeous Persian rug with a versatile size.
